Producer Sara-Mae on Bibi does Soho show

IMG_9927

We’re delighted that Sara-Mae is getting a chance to natter with queen of the airwaves Bibi Lynch on her marvellous Soho Radio show.

We’ll be chatting about season 1: The Sugar Baby Confessionals, plus developments with season 2, so look out for that.

Also on will be BBC Radio presenter Jo Good talking about her new podcast Dogs and The City, and comedian Phil Nichol will be discussing his Your Wrong tour.

Also… be sure to prime yourself by listening to the hilarious episode of Bibi’s Metro podcast Good Sex Bad Sex with ex-sex worker and comedian Miranda Kane. It features sugar baby heroine Ruby indulging in a titillating (or tintillating? You’ll have to listen to the podcast to get that in-joke) tête-à-tête –

Fable Gazers meets Flixwatcher

Ruby and Sara-Mae has such a blast with Helen and Kobi of Flixwatcher podcast, the Netflix Film Review Podcast.

There were plenty of giggles as we chatted about the many amazing characteristics (in Sara-Mae’s opinion) and also the somewhat clunky plot contrivances (Ruby went to town on those) of this great British film.

Here’s a teaser to whet your appetite:

You can hear the podcast on:

Apple iTunes or pod player app

Soundcloud

Stitcher

Flixwatcher is a must listen for any movie lovers out there and there are scads of great guests from Adam Buxton to The Standard Issue ladies.

We were absolutely delighted to be included, and hope you love the episode as much as we do.

Everyone’s talking about the best new podcast to hit the interweb!

Hey lovely people –

We need your help to win the Listener’s Choice award at the British Podcast Awards: Fable Gazers Season 1: The Sugar Baby Confessionals – if you’ve listened and you love it, do vote for it here: britishpodcastawards.com/vote – please and thank you!

If you haven’t listened, we’d love to hear your thoughts – it’s been a lot of work, in all our weekends and spare hours, and we’re very proud of it.

It’s a complete story, so be sure to listen (it’s available on all podcast players, including iTunes, Spotify and Stitcher) from the beginning to get the full effect:

Journalists like Bibi Lynch, sexologist Alix Fox and Rob Crossan have described it as “compelling,” “beautifully put together”, intriguing, “off-kilter”, and very candid!

Here are some more listener reviews:
“Delusions of grandeur
are inherent in youth
it’s the nightmare
of the tangled bed sheets
the result of reckless actions
that haunts one in old age.” – Bette O’Callaghan
“Love it, well written, presented and thoroughly enjoyed. Never heard of a sugar baby before.” Lucinda Sieger

Sara-Mae and several lovely people like Beth Keehn, Mike Scott are doing all this in their spare time, so recognition like this goes a long way towards helping us to attract potential sponsors – which ultimately means we can keep doing creating marvellous audio stories!
(Trust us, season 2 is going to be even better *cough* Stephen Fry *cough*)

And please feel free to forward this email or spread the news in any way you see fit 😉

Lots of love xx

Sara-Mae

“If you’re going to do this, why wouldn’t you get paid for it?”

In the second episode of The Sugar Baby Confessionals, we explore the idea of love as it pertains to the sugar babies. We also meet our second sugar baby and Ruby’s longtime friend (and bad influence?) Madeleine and hear about her torturous relationship with The Marquis.

The sugar babies explain more about how their arrangements with their sugar daddies are structured, and we get into some potentially awkward territory. Do their wives/other halves know? Can you still be loyal to someone and sleep with other people? We also meet more sugar daddies: Big Fish, Octocock and the Brit.

Curious to see where the story takes us? Keep listening, and tell us what you think on Twitter or Instagram.

Also don’t forget to rate, review and subscribe on iTunes or wherever you get your podcasts.

Enjoy!

Season 1: episode 1 of The Sugar Baby Confessionals is out now!

Our very first podcast episode is out (semi)officially now!

We’re so excited about it, as we’ve been working on it for over two years.

Here’s what The Sugar Baby Confessionals is all about:

What if your best friend – your best, married friend – embraced the sugar baby lifestyle – not by necessity, but by choice? Sara-Mae Tuson’s best friend, Ruby, did just that. Sexy? Scary? Judge for yourself.

In the Sugar Baby Confessionals, the girl talk gets candid as Sara-Mae and Ruby talk about love, sex and life as a Sugar Baby – the pleasures and the pitfalls. You’ll meet Ruby, her friends, her Sugar Daddies and her husband. We reveal all in The Sugar Baby Confessionals.

In the first episode we meet Ruby, a newbie to the sugar baby lifestyle. We learn more about what a sugar baby is (someone who gets money or gifts from older men in exchange for sex), how Ruby got involved as well as what the terms ‘vanilla’ and ‘hot-wiving’ mean. Ruby gives relationship and sex tips, treating us to a funny story about role-playing with her husband. And most excitingly…we meet our first sugar daddy: Mankini.

We’d love it if you commented on Twitter (@fable_gazers ) or email us on fablegazers@gmail.com.

Enjoy!
